The Port Whangarei sailed last night for Wellington, Lyttelton. Timaru and Dunedin. Arriving from Napier yesterday morning, the Kanna is to sail after discharge on Monday for Greymouth. Tho Waitaki is to load at Newcastle on "Wednesday and will complete her cargo at Sydney for Wellington and Gisborne. The Wingatui, which has been loading at Prince's Wharf, sailed last night for Wellington. Picton, Lyttelton. Dunedin, Oamaru and Timaru. The modern Federal Line motor-ship Dorset, which is discharging cargo from Liverpool at Queen's Wharf, is to sail on Wednesday for Wellington. The Northern Company advises that the Toa left, for Tnuranga yesterday afternoon. The Tuhoe is to sail for Whakatano and Tauranga to-day at noon. THE PORT DENISON The Commonwealth and Dominion Line's steamer Port Denison, which arrived from Opua on Thursday night and berthed at Queen's Wharf, sail at five o'clock this afternoon for Gisborne. She will complete her loading at Picton, Wellington and Wanganui. SHIPS FROM NEW YORK The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the City of Dieppe, which was to leave New York on January 8, is due at Auckland fibout February 9. The Ashburton is to leave New York on February 23 and will arrive here about March 30. Tho City of Canberra is expected from the same port about April 18. MANJU MARU TO SAIL The Japanese steamer Manju Marit, the first of the vessels belonging to the Ynninshitn Kisen Kaishn to operate on the direct service between Japan aid New Zealand, arrived yesterday afternoon. The ship berthed at Central Wharf at 5 p.m. She left MiTke on December '27 and experienced rough weather for the first week of the voyage. The remainder of the passage was fine until Bearing the coast. The ship will sail for Wellington at noon to-day.

NARDANA SAILS TO-DAY The Nardana. which is discharging from New York at Prince's Wharf, is to sail at noon to-day for Napier. The ship arrived on Thursday. THE LOCH LOMOND The new ship Loch Lomond will arrive at Auckland from Vancouver to-morrow, lb# vessel called at Apia. After discharge she will go to Wellington and Sydney. KARTIG-1 ON MONDAY The Kartigi sailed from Greymouth for Auckland at four o'clock on Thursday afternoon and will arrive here on Monday, one will sail for Melbourne and Adelaide, via Gisborne, Napier and Greymouth, about Thursday. lONIC SAILS TO-DAY The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner lonic is to sail at daylight to-day for Port Chalmers to complete discharge. THE ORARI The New Zealand Shipping Company's motor-ship Orari, which sailed from Auckland on Thursday for Gisborne, will arrive ht Wellington to-morrow. WAIMARINO FOR AUCKLAND The Waimarino sailed from Picton on Thursday and from Wellington yesterday, for Auckland. The ship is to leave here for Wellington, Picton, Lyttelton, Dunedin. Blus and Timaru on Friday. STAFF CHANGES After many years in the Auckland branch of the New Zealand Shipping Company, Limited, Mr. H. G. Carr has been transferred to Wellington. Mr. O. Guy, of Christchurch. will join the Auckland office in Mr. Cari'a place. The transfers will take place on February 1. THE MATAROA Wireless advice has been received from the Shaw.
