SAFETY IN AIR
NEW FRENCH MACHINES PASSENGERS' PARACHUTES PARIS, Jan. 13 A new F224 Farman aeroplane has a number of experimental trap-doors to enable passengers to escape quickly in case of emergency. Parachutes are fitted to all the seats, and it is claimed that everyone would be able to jump out of the machine without delay in the event of trouble.
