AUCKLAND CLUB MARATHON RACE IN MAY The Auckland Amateur Athletic and Cycle Club, now in its 58th year, hns decided upon a fairly extensive proeramnie for the remainder of Ibis season. Weekly evening meetings will be held at the Domain Cricket Ground, commencing on Wednesday next, also a series of Saturday afternoon sports, including the St. Patrick Cup carnival on March 34. There will be a grand marathon run over 20 miles 385 yds, to be contested on Saturday, May 2, for which special prizes will be provided. Conditions of the marathon will be announced shortly.
