FATAL THAMES ACCIDENT
COLLISION AT INTERSECTION DEATH OF SECOND VICTIM [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] THAMES, Wednesday The death occurred in the Thames Hospital to-day of Mr. Arthur Kearsley, who was seriously injured in a motor collision at the junction'of tho Kerepeehi and the Paeroa-Ngatea lloads on Monday, when his wife was killed.
Mr. and Mrs. Kearsley, who were farming on what is known as the Island Block at Kerepeehi, had been to Thames on a Christmas shopping trip on Friday. The motor-cycle and side-car in which they were travelling collided with a heavy truck, and Mrs. Kearsley was thrown to the road, her death occurring almost immediately. Her husband suffered severe internal injuries and concussion, and was removed to the Thames Hospital, where he did not regain consciousness. He w*as in his 41st year. There are no children.
