EARLY DAYS RECALLED

INTERESTING REUNION Memories of old Auckland and of.the Wellesley Street Baptist Church during the pastorate of tho Rev, Allan W. Webb were recalled at a happy reunion 011 Friday evening of close personal friends of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Cutler, who, during the past few weeks, have been on a holiday visit to the city and province. A dainty tea was served at tho Farmers' Trading Company's rooms.

Those present included Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Cutler, Mrs. Clow (formerly Cutler), Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Cranch, Mr. and Mrs.W. Lambourne, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Hughes, Mr. and Mrs. F. W. 131 a key;,' and Messrs. A. B. Shalders, W. T. Ogilvie, H. J. Edmiston, Percy Sponcer, F. A. Cleveland and W. Cliffe. Mr. T. W. Cranch presided.

Incidents and experiences of the early days and of tho Young Men's Mutual Improvement Society were related w>th much enthusiasm and enjoyment. The signing of iv presentation autograph album concluded a very happy occasion. Mr. and Mrs. Cutler will return to Capetown, South Africa, where Mr. Cutler has carried on a largo manufacturing business for many years, via Australia. They purpose leaving Auckland by the Wanganella.
