CONTRACT FOR BRIDGES
WAIPU COVE-MANGAWAI WORK TO START AT ONCE [from our own correspondent] WHANGAREr, Saturday The Whangarei County Council thißj morning, with the approval of the' Public Works Department, accepted the tender of Mr. L. W. Waldron, of Whangarei, for the construction of three concrete bridges on the Waipu Cove-Mangawai Road. The structures are to replace the wooden bridges;;; which were washed away during the severe floods of last winter.
