MINISTER OF FINANCE
The Minister of Finance, Mr. Coates, arrived in Auckland on Saturday after his northern tour. In the afternoon he attended a garden party at the residence of Sir George and Lady Wilson and in the evening he was present at a social gathering of the Junior National League. Mr. Coates left last evening for Wellington. Ho will proceed by aeroplane to Nelson today and will deliver an address there to-night. To-morrow he will visit Blenheim and he will return to Wellington by air on Wednesday. ' ■
