♦ " NOT GERMAN CITIZENS" BARRED FROM CIVIL SERVICE BERLIN, Nov. 15 Jews aro not German citizens but merely subjects and are disfranchised undor tho new rule for application of tho anti-Jewish laws. All Jewish civil servants must resign by December 31. Only war veterans are to be eligible for pensions, under the new rule. The rule also defines a Jew ps such if ho has one or more Jewish grandparents, or if ho was married to a Jew when the anti-Jewish laws were passed. Tho age at which non-Jewish maidservants aro permitted to work in Jewish households is to be lowered from 45 to 35. Only Herr Hitler and Dr. Frick are empowered to give special permits for intermarriages. ♦
