NANCY OLDS IN AMERICA WELCOME AT SAN FRANCISCO (Received November 17, 8.45 p.m.) SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 10 The famous New Zealand sectional swimming champion, Miss Isancy Olds, of Dunedin, has arrived here. She announced her decision to reside permanently in California and to participate in American swimming contests. "Buster" Olds, her brother, is one of the foremost among American swimmers, competing under the San Francisco Olympic Club colours. He met Nancy upon her arrival from Wellington. San Francisco sportsmen extended a welcome to Miss Olds. They are discussing the possibility of her taking part in tho Olympic Games. "Buster" Olds attained fame by conquering the swirling currents at tho Golden Gate, the entrance to San Francisco harbour.
