WANGANUI MOTOR ACCIDENT AUCKLAND WOMAN DRIVING [BY TELEGBArU—-I'BESS ASSOCIATION] WANGANUI, Friday Fatal injuries were suffered by a woman named Mrs. Moss who was struck by a motor-car while walking across Victoria Avenue at the Ingestre Streot intersection last night. She was accompanied by an unemployed labourer, Mr. A. Motley, aged about 44. who was also hit by the car and Buffered a compound fracture of the leg and other injuries necessitating an operation. His condition to-day was reported as being satisfactory. Mrs. Moss had nor skull fractured and died this morning. The police are inquiring as to the relatives and address of the victim; who is unknown to the hospital authorities. The driver of the vehicle,* an Auckland woman, was alone in tho car at the time of tho accident.
