DESPATCH TO BRITAIN A further opportunity to despatch copies of the Christmas N umber of The Weekly News to Great Britain will be afforded by tho mail to be carried by tho Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Akaroa, which sails for London at five o'clock this afternoon. I'he vessel is expected to reach London on December 11. Tho mail will close at tho chief post oflice at 3 p.m. to-day, late fee postage being one hour later. The postal rate to Britain is Id a copy for The Weekly News. There will bo a despatch of ordinary Christmas mail for Great Britain, Ireland and Europe, via Vancouver, on Tuesday by the Royal Mail liner Aorangi, ihe consignment boing due at London on December-12. The postage rate to Britain for tho Christmas Numbers by this mail, however, is sd.
