ASKARIS IN ACTION CLASH WITH ABYSSINIANS LONDON. Nov. 6 The Asmara correspondent of the Exchange Telegraph Company states that the vanguard of the Askaris in the south-west of Hauzien went to the mouth of a cavpria in which 200 Abyssinians had taken refuge and demanded their surrender. The Abyssinians rushed out and hurled themselves on the Askaris. A savage hand-to-hand struggle ensued and two Italian officers, two noncommissioned officers and two Askaris wore killed. The Abyssinians lost heavily.
