RACE FROM CHRISTCHURCH [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Wednesday The ■ Hamilton Homing Pigeon Club, in conjunction with tbe South ■ Auckland Federation contested a race durjngthe weokond fiom Christohurch. an air-lino distance of 420' miles. Liberated in dull weather, the birds encountered rain, with a uorth-westorly wind, with the result that there were only two arrivals on the first day of the race. The event was won by C. Crabb's entry, and ho thereby secures a silver cup given by Mr. -F. Woodhall. Mr. Crabb has won the event on two provious occasions. Details were as, follows:—C.
