OBITUARY

MR. ROBERT WOOD Mr. Robert Wood, who died at his residence in Eden Vale Road yesterday, was a well-known resident of Thames, where he carried on business as draper for many years. Mr. Wood came originally from Berwick, and lived in Auckland for some years beforo he settled in Thames. He was always a staunch supporter of tho Presbyterian Church, and was session clerk of the Thames Church for nearly 20' years. He took a keen interest in bowling, and was well known on many of the Auckland greens. He retired to Auckland a few years ago with Mrs. Wood, by whom lie is survived.
