WAIPA COMPETITIONS TARANAKI PLAN ADOPTED [from our own correspondent] TE AWAMUTU, Tuesday A special general meeting of the Waipa Rugby Union last night approved a recommendation from the Hamilton Union that the Taranaki system of play should be adapted. The plan provides for competition between three teams from the Hamilton Union, two from Waipa and either two from Cambridge or one each from the Cambridge and Taupiri Unions, thus ensuring at least 12 inter-union contests on successive Saturdays. Each union will also have senior reserve, junior and lower grade competitions as at present.
