WHEELBARROW TRIP

Completing a wheelbarrow journey to Wellington and back, a total distance of about 954 miles, Mr. Laurence Beavis returned to Auckland yesterday -afternoon. Leaving Auckland on July 1(5, Mr. Beavis pushed his barrow to Wellington, arriving there on September 11. He pulled the barrow on the return journey, which was made in 41 days. Builder of the Gospel Ship, which was recently destroyed by fire, Mr. Beavis made the (venture in order to raise funds for the construction of a second similar vessel. He intends to return to Silverdale to-day ajid start with the building of a new ship as soon as possible
