MAJORITY RIGHTS

Sir, —The reply made by Mr. Stone to my assertion that it is immoral for the many to rob the few is quite unconvincing. Mr. Stone has failed to see the difference between voluntary and compelled action. Jesus advised the rich man to sell all he had and give it to the poor, but did not tell the poor to take, nolens volens, all he had from the rich man. This is the crux. I challenge Mr. Stone to produce from oiy, or any other scriptures, an admonition to the poor forcibly to despoil the rich. A. Warburton.
