AMBULANCE CADETS

ANNUAL INSPECTION Two cadet officers and 35 cadets wero present at the annual inspection of tho National Reserve No. 1 Cadet Division of tho St John Ambulanco Brigade, held on Monday in tho Pitt Street Methodist Hall. Tho district commissioner, Mr. C. J Tunks, congratulated Cadet Superintendent W. PI. F.lliott on tho fine muster and tho keenness of the lads. A satisfactory report upon the records of the division was made by District Officer U. Hitchon. The commissioner presented tho following awards:—National Rcsorvo efficiency medal, Cadet N. F. Dixon; book prizes for attendance and conduct, Cadet Corporal T. McMiirehy and Cndet B. Thompson; service stripes, Cadet Sergeant I'\ McLachlan, Corporals Baird and McMurchy, Cadets Koff, Pennoiligen, Dixon, Jones, McPherson, McKinnon, Sindlen, Thompson and Smith.
