TRANSPORT LICENCES
APPLICATIONS GRANTED A meeting of the No. 2 Transport Licensing Authority was held yesterday. Mr. J. A. C. Allum presided and with him were associated Mr. E. C. Blomfield and Mr. T. Hanna. The following applications for amendments to licences were granted:—Passenger services: E. J. McQuoid, Auckland to Titirangi and Auckland to Laingholm; W. J. Wheeler, Weymouth to Manurewa picture theatro and Takanini to the same destination; E. I). C. Badham, Auckland to Karekare. Goods services: D. It. Gleeson, Waiuku; J. G. Richmond, Auckland. A now application for a passenger servico was granted in tho case of V. S. Rogers, Weymouth to Manurewa, transferred from L. J. J. Reeves. • Decision in tho case of Robertson's Motors, who sought permission to amend the time-table of their Ham-ilton-Raglan passenger service, was deferred.
Tho authority will sit again this morning.
