TRAVEL WRITER'S PLANS
NEW IMPRESSIONS SOUGHT
A travel writer, Mr. G. Schmidt Pizarro, is it through passenger to Sydney by the Lurline, which arrived at Auckland yesterday from Los Angeles. Mr. Pizarro will return to Now Zealand by the Lurline and Twill then remain here for a month obtaining material for articles.
The visitor's articles, all written in Spanish, are printed widely in South America and translated for American, Canadian and European newspapers. Although a native of Lima, Peru, Mr Pizarro has lived in Paris for several years. Ho is a direct descendant'of Don Francisco Pizarro, Spanish conqueror of Peru 400 years ago. This is his first visit to New Zealand and Australia.
