LEADING LADY AT 17
The great Terry theatrical tradition is to be continued on the screen. Hazel Terry, daughter of the late Denis Neilson-Terry and Mary Glynne, and a grand-niece of Ellen Terry, has been given the role of the heroine in the Capitol Film corporation's new picture, "The Marriage of Corbal," based on one of the romances of Rafael Sabatini. She is 17.
Karl Grune, the distinguished Austrian director -who made "Abdul the Damned," found himself, on the evo of production, without a leading lady. Max Schach, Director of Productions for the company, saw Miss Terry at Oxford and brought her to London. Mr. Grune made a test, and Miss Terry found herself in the position young actresses dream of—a leading lady in her first picture. "The Marriage of Corbal" is a story of the French Revolution. A strong cast includes Nils Asther and Hugh Sinclair.
