HAMILTON TOURNAMENT [from orm own correspondent] HAMILTON. Friday The Hamilton Boxing Association will hold mi amateur tournament in- the Alexandra Hall next Monday evening. A team of Auckland boxers will be matched against a strong selection from,, the Waikato, including Bongard. Hobson, Caltanx, Maxim, Thornton, Brown lee and Farmer. It is expected that the programme will provide lively and scientific boxing. Oct. 31 Ernie Roderick, official contender for the British welter-weight boxing title, beat Harry Lister, middle-weight, of New Zealand. on points, in a 10-round bout at Liverpool.
