ALL SAINTS' FAIR
MANY WELL-LADEN STALLS
The funds of All Saints' Church, Ponsonby, will benefit considerably as a result of the seventh annual rose show and plain and fancy fair hold in the parish hall yesterday afternoon and evening. The stalls, which were laden with a variety of attractive and useful goods, were decorated with sprays of pink paper roses, whilo the entries in the rose show wero arranged on a central table. Afternoon tea was served on the stage, where vases of Iceland poppies were used to decorate the tables.
Those in charge of stalls were: Fancy goods: Mrs. C. F. Bennett, Mis'. F. Worsfold, Mrs. J. Hodgson, Mrs. J. L. Scoullar, Mrs. W. Hunter, Mrs. C. F. Billington and Mrs. J. Irwin. Cakes and sweets: Mrs. C. H. 1. Palmer, Mrs. S. 0. English, Mrs. V. Usher, Mrs. W. Manning, Mrs. H. Squires, Miss Gladys Holman, Miss Margaret Lightbourne, Miss Doris Shrubsall and Miss R. Willis. Christmas tree stall: Mrs. C. Chatteris, Mrs. C. R Rentier and Airs. T. Matuschka. Flowers: Mrs. J. Archer, Miss R. O'Brien and Miss N. I'arquhar. Babies stall: Mrs. F. Barker and Mrs. Dent. Guild stall: Mrs. B. Tait, Mrs. C. I. Scott, Mrs. C. A. Coppins, Mrs. W. Leramon and Mrs. Currie. Produce: Mrs W. Reid, Mrs. A. Scholfield, Mrs. J. E. Eriksen, Mrs. Lawton and Mrs. F* Currie. Afternoon tea was served by Mrs. C. H. Cato, Mrs. E. Austin, Mrs. P. T. Bint, Mrs. H. Culpan, Mrs. C. W. Pepperell, Mrs. J. A. Doherty and Miss E. Brown.
