OBITUARY
MR. J. W. LONGMAN [BT TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Friday • The death has occurred in a Wellington private hospital of Mr. J. W. Longman, aged 68, manager of the Gear Meat Co.'s preserving works at Petone. Mr. Longman was born in Canterbury. During his residence at Petone ho served on various educational bodies and also took an active interest in sports. Ho was a prominent Freemason. , MRS. M. A. K. PULHAM Tho death occurred at Kohimarama yesterday of Mrs. Mary Anna Katcrina Pulham, in her 80th year. Born at Frankfurt, Germany, Mrs. Pulham came to Now Zealand with her parents, tho late Captain and Mrs. Krippner, in the ship Lord Burleigh,, in 1860. Her early days were spent in tho Puhoi and Orewa districts. After her marriago to Mr. William Pulham, she resided for many years on the east coast of tho Coromandel Peninsula, where her husband was a prominent figure in the timber industry. Recontly fjjhe lived at Matakana. Sho is survived by her husband and seven children. MRS. E. REEKIE Advice has been reoeived of the death at San Jacinto, California, of Mrs. Edith Reekie, formerly of Auckland, and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. K. Hare, of Balmoral Road, Dominion Road. Mrs. Reekio left for the United States 15 years ago with her husband, Dr. J. S. Reekie, and„ family. Mrs. Reekie, who was to have visited her parents next month, is survived by three sons and two daughters. Dr. Reekio died 10 years agb.
