Satisfactory progress was reported it tho half-yearly meeting of tho X.)cvonport Returned Soldiers' Club. It was reported that tho number of members had increased from 196 to 229. The vacancies on tho executive committee, caused by the retirement of Messrs. 1). Ross and W. F. M. Maclean, were filled by tho election of JNlessrs. D. Young and W. Marsh. In the, last six months, an average .of over £'2l a month has been disbursed from Poppy Day proceeds, the club benevolent fund, and canteen fund grants.
