LICENSING QUESTION
REFORM MEASURES URGED [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION'] WELLINGTON, Thursday The executive of the Now Zealand Licensing Reform Association elected Archdeacon W. Bullock, of Wairarapa, president, in succession to the late Rev. P. T. Williams. Resolutions were carried favouring the middle issue of State purchase and control, and declaring that the final solution of the liquor problem lay in some form of control, such as corporate control, which would effect a real measure of temperance reform.
