HUNTLY CLUB'S RACE ./ The Huntly Racing Pigeon Club, held .its sixth old bird nvernse race from Blenheim* a distance of 279 miles, in Conjunction with the South Auckland Federation, a cup being won by Mr. A. D. Jfall. Following is the result:—A. D. Hall's' entry, 1215.3 yds per minute, 1; M. Robinson's entry. 1178.4yd5, 2; W. Allsopp's entry, 1133.2yd5, 3, M. Robinson's entry, 1133 yds, 4.
WHANGAREI CLUB'S RACE [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] WHANGAREI, ' Tuesday , The Whangarei Homing Pigeon Club held a yearling lace from National Park during the week-end. Each member was allowed to send three birds, and had to clock in two. Results:—D. Wilson's entrieß, 1293yda per min, 1: W. Griffiths' entries, 1276 yds, 2. A pair of young birds has been donated to the club by Mr. J. L. Bolton, of "Wellington. FAST RACE FROM BLENHEIM [from our own Correspondent] TE AROHA, Tuesday In conjunction with the South Auckland Federation the Te Aroha Racing Pigeon Club flew a race from Blenheim, a distance of 290 miles. The birds made the fast time of 6 hours 43 minutes Results:—P. Bygrave's Logan Junior, 1263 yards a minut«, 1; and Peter Pan, 1258 yds, 2; H. Crouoh's No 118. 1185 yds. 3.
