Slasher and Sky Pilot strode over seven furlongs in 1.30, and the remainder of the Chokebore team were restricted to strong work, mostly on tho plough. Dollar Prince reeled off six furlongs well in 1.15 2-5, going very fast over the first half. Miracle ran five furlongs in 1.3. He is to be taken to Trent-ham if he carries on satisfactorily. Kow Tow covered half a mile in 51s, and Cerne Abbas sprinted three furlongs in 38s. Both these youngsters are also booked for Trentham. Madam Pompadour ran half a milo comfortably in 50 3-ss. She should race well at Timaru next Saturday. Golden Dart accounted for Matron over fivo furlongs in 1.2 4-5. Honour's Lass was kept in restraint over a similar distance in 1.6. She is to be ridden on Saturday by A. Russell, who is now attached to D. Cotton's stable. - Knockfin reeled off five furlongs in 1.2. Sho is in great order at present, but may not be a starter next Saturday. Hino Ra recorded similar timo, and Lady Graceful, who has furnished exceptionally well, executed a like task in 1.3 4-5. Concert Pitch finished too strongly for Sky Rover over six furlongs in 1.10 3-5. Wino maintained an even pace over six furlongs in 1.18 1-5. Cranford was half a length in front of Rebel Chief at the end of six furlongs in 1.14 1-5, the first three in 35 3-ss. This was a smart gallop by both horses in view of their six furlongs engagement next Saturday. Latitude and Haste Away finished together, ir front of Polygraph, over seven furlongs in 1.30. Riptide ran six furlongs in 1.18 1-5. Rose of Tralee broko away in front of Tunneller and stayed there throughout five furlongs in 1.3 1-5. Argentic and Haere Tonu ran seven furlongs in 1.30. Doctor Duthie did half a mile in 50 2-ss. Joppa and Monastic were companions over six hurdles, and Trishna and Radiant Rose jumped four hurdles safely. DARGAVILLE CLUB'S MEETING NEW DATES TO BE SELECTED

A decision that, it could not recomImend December 7 and 9 as tho dates for the Dargaville Racing Club's meeting, to be held at Avondale, was made by the Auckland District Committee yesterday. The Waipa Racing Club, whose meeting is scheduled for December 14, objected to the dates. The committee decided to suggest that tho Dargaville Club should select new dates. New brought back Legatee, Hunting Mars, Svmeony and Red Hunting, and T. R. George sent back Fulojoy, Le Grand, Cricket and Princess Doreen. George remained for the concluding day at Randwick with Wotan. Debham and Debut. Ho will return next week. New left the two-year-old filly Kinsfolk in Australia.

,The jockey A. E. Ellis also came back on the Marama. PEGAWAY'S NEW OWNER DESIGNS ON PERTH MEETING The pacer Pegaway has been acquired by Mr. E. G. Bridgens, of Auckland, and will this week join F. J. Smith's stable at Takanini. When previously trained by Smith, Pegaway won several good races, but last season failed to reach the winning-list, most of his racing being done in the South Island. As a result of his failures, Pegaway is now on 2.12, 2.45 and 4.29, and if he returns to his best form Mr. Bridgens will consider taking him to Perth for tho championships in February. TELEVISION'S MISFORTUNE INJURY WHILE TRAINING Tho unraced four-year-old pacer Television, who was to have made his first appearance at Hamilton next Saturday, has met with a mishap which will keep him-off the scone for a few weeks. While finishing a work-out atTakanini he jumped and fell, and although at the time ho did not apperff ß to be much the worse for the experience, it later transpired that one of his legs was injured. Television is by Great Parrish from Coal Light.

FORM OF LOGAN'S PRIDE GOOD HANDICAP WINNER Logan's Pride, who is hooked to race at the Waikato and Auckland trotting meetings this month, was a very successful performer in 1930 and 1931. Ho commenced a good run by winning tho Manawatu Trotting Cup and running second to Queen Elizabeth in thf> President's Handicap on the same day. At Wanganui ho scored in the Liverpool Handicap and followed with a fino win in the Hawera Trotting Cup. On the second day ho was runner-up to Enawah in tho Waimate Plains Handicap. Taken to Addington for the Canterbury Park meeting ho ran second in tho Ellesmero Handicap and won tho Pioneer Handicap in 4.20 1-5 off 4.34. Tho next season Logan's Prido reached the top of his form, and at tho Auckland November meeting recorded three firsts and a third in four starts. Ho won the Jellicoo, Electric and Campbell Handicaps, and was third to Mountain Dell and Stanmoor in the Alexandra Handicap. He was off tho scene for a good while, but, lately has been displaying signs of making a return to form. AUSTRALIAN PACERS ARRIVE EVICUS AND EMILIUS WAY [BY TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] WELLINGTON, Tuesday The Australian pacers Emilius Way and Evicus arrived from Sydney by the Marama to-day under the charge of E. N. Kennerloy, who is accompanied by his wife and son. They left for Christchurch to-night. Evicus is engaged in the New Zealand Trotting Cup, to bo run at Addington on November 12.
