NURSES' HOME
The remodelling and re-equipment of the kitchen of the nurses' home at the Auckland Hospital, at a cost of about £3OOO, has been completed and the kitchen is now in use. When the alterations were being made a temporary kitchen was used, which had been built next to the permanent building. Another work for which tenders have been called is the enlargement of the nurses' home at the Infirmary. An additional 20 bedrooms are to be provided at an estimated cost of £3150.
