Elliot rides Carnarvon in the Caul Held Cup; H. Skidmore, Panto; and D. Munro, Journal, Contact, Oro, Berestoi, Turbine, King's Head, The Raider and High Cross arrived at Melbourne to-day from Sydney. Peter Pan worked usefully at Flemington this morning and looks well. Synagogue has been tehandicapped 31b.' for the Cantala Stakes, making liia weight 9.5.
WINNING OWNERS MR. G. M. CURRIE HEADS LIST , .. ~ f As a result of Entail's Victory in the Great Nothern Guineas and Spiral's second in the Flying Handicap, Mr. G. M. Currie, of Wanganui, was the principal winning owner at the Auckland Racing Club's Spring Mooting with a total of £570. Caliente's win in the Mitchelson Cup*was worth £SOO to Mr. J. L.
