ROAD METALLING
TE MIRO SETTLEMENT [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Monday Advice has been received by the Matamata County Council that five miles of metalling will be put in hand on tho French Pass and To Miro settlement roads. Tho work, which is estimated to cost £6BOO, will bo done as an unemployment relief scheme under a co-operative system, with tho men working full time.
