NORTHCOTE BOROUGH
The Northcote Borough Council last night expressed dissatisfaction with the proposed summer vehicular ferry timetable, particularly the elimination of the evening service from Auckland after 6.20 o'clock. Suggestions will bo placed before the Devonport Ferry Company. Information regarding the metropolitan drainage scheme was forwarded by the chairman of the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Board, Mr. Ernest Davis. It was decided to reply that the information was insufficient to enable the council to form an opinion, there being no proposals affecting the (jorough.
