MOUNT ROSKILL BOARD

BUILDING ACTIVITY It was reported by the building inspector, Mr. H. L. Jessop, at last night's meeting of the Mount Roskill Road Board that in the last fortnight permits for the erection of two dwellings, valued at £1223, had been issued-. For the first eight months of the year, building permits to the value of £32,0:21 had been issued, compared with £16,949 for the same period last year. Advice was received from thfe Hillsborough Bowling Club that as it had beon found there was room for only one bowling green on the Three Kings Reserve nothing further would be clone in the matter of establishing greens on the site.
