AUCKLAND TO WELLINGTON COMPLETION OF JOURNEY [BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON Wednesday The wheelbarrow tourists,, Messrs. G. L. Lukey and J. C. Schofiield, completed their* journey from Auckland to Wellington to-day, arriving at Thorndun at 11.45 a.m. The two men were met by numbers of motorists and cyclists, and the route to a community singing leathering, organised by the Mayor'u Kelief Committee, whore they made an appearance was thronged by thousands of people. • Messrs. Luke.v and Schofield left the Auckland Chief Post Office at 9.lfi a.m. on Monday, August 5. their aim being to accomplish the barrow journey to Wellington within 31 days. The distance was stated to be 49ii milos. Mr. Lukey pushed the barrow, Mr. Schofield being the passenger,
