SHOW AT TAURANGA

WOMEN'S INSTITUTE EFFORT A successful show arranged by tho Tauranga Women's Institute was officially opened by Mrs. Stenhouse, president of tho Tauranga District Federation. Flowers, cookery, needlework, painting, goods, thrift articles, knitting, crochet work and babies' garments were exhibited, and a high standard of merit was achieved in each section. The thrift articles were particularly interesting and demonstrated what can be done with the most unpromising materials.
