KILLED BY LIGHTNING

CHILD IN ENGLAND SEVERE ELECTRIC STORMS (Received September 3, 6.5 p.m.) British Wireless RUGBY, Sept. 2 Severe thunderstorms were experienced in many parts of England yesterday. A child was killed by lightning and two others were injured. An exceptionally severe storm struck the south-east coast last night and passed northward. Margate, IJroadstf.irs and Birdhington, for almost half an hour, were deprived of light owing, it is believed, to the electric light cables having been struck by lightning.
