MR. THOMAS EAGER The death occurred at Timaru J**, tenia,s' of Mr. Thomas Lager foriner, a well-known resident ol .• in his 79th year. J Mr. Eager was born in emigrated to New Zealand as a yoi » man in 1879. After working <: threshing mill in the Asbburtou ,j trict he 6pent some time on the g diggings at Gabriel's Gully.
