INCIDENT IN GAOL ATTACK ON GOVERNOR HOBART, Sept. 3 Following the bomb outrage at a local gaol yesterday a prisoner throw a quantity of disinfectant at the face of the governor of the prison, Colonel L. Mullen. Tho governor avoided the liquid, a quantity of which splashed back from the walls of a cell into the face of the prisoner, whose eyes were injured and he had to receive medical attention. The thrower of the bomb ha 3 not been discovered. Disciplinary measures have been taken and the prisoners have been confined to their cells. It is learned that there was talk amor.g tins prisoners of a strike against work in the gaol, and a number of policemen and the gaol staff were ready in force to meet such a contingency.
