Todav's results were:— A Grade. —Otago beat Southland, 3—l; Wellington beat Southland, 10—9; Canterbury beat Hawke's Bay, 15—10; Auckland beat Poverty Bay, 16—6; Wellington beat Waikato, 24 —9; Hawke's Bay beat Poverty Bay, 19 —S; Canterbury beat Waikato, ]7 —12; Auckland drew with .Otago, 13—13. Second Grade. —Section one: Ashburton boat North Auckland, 20 —9; Southland Minor beat Manawatu, 22—12; Wairoa beat Bush, 13—6; Marlborough drew with Wairoa, 15 —15; Manawatu beat Bush, 18 —13; Southland Minor beat North Auckland, 17 —5. Section two: South Canterbury beat Wanganui, 17—7; South Canterbury beat Wellington Minor, 19—9; Wairarapa beat Nelson, 17 —0; Wellington Minor beat Rotorua, 28 —12; Taranaki beat W r est Coast, 20 —7; South Canterbury beat Rotorua, 18 —6; Taranaki beat Wanganui, 21 —12; West Coast beat Nelson, 14 —6; Wairarapa beat West Coast, 18—13; Wairarapa beat Rotorua, 27—12.
