ELECTRICAL TRADE

MEETING OF FEDERATION There was a representative gathering of delegates at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Electrical Traders' Federation held on Thursday in Auckland. Mr. J. M. Fleming, president, presided. The annual report, which was adopted, disclosed that numerous subjects relating to the electrical industry had been dealt with during tho past year, and that tho membership campaign had resulted in substantial increases in the numerical strength of local associations affiliated with tho federation. Plans were finalised for the conduct of further intensive membership campaigns during the coming year. Tho following officers were elected:— President, Mr. J. M. Fleming (Wellington) ; vice-president, Mr. H. S. Lamburd (Wellington); executive, Messrs. J. A. C. Mum, J. F. Armitage (Auckland), W. U. Eoss, C. G. Schumacher (Canterbury), C. J. Darracott, D. R. Shortt (Dunedin), W. S. Coder holm, G. W. Waite (Wellington) ; advisory committee, Messrs. J. M. Fleming, S. Cory-Wright, R. A. Rcdpath, C. S. Stewart, and W. S. Cederholin; hon. auditor, P. J. Porter (Wellington); secretary and treasurer, F. Ross (Wellington).
