STRONG SOUTHERLY WINDS SCATTERED SHOWERS The weather report and forecast for New Zealand, issued last evening by , the Government meteorologist, was as ■ follows: —Pressure is still low over, and especially to the east of. SPECIAL AUCKLAND FORECAST CHANGEABLE BUT IMPROVING The Government meteorologist issued j- to the Hkrald last evening the following special forecast for the Auckland Province: —Moderate to strong but decreasing south-westerly winds. The weather is likely to be cold and • changeable with a few isolated showers, \ but improving. Seas rough but moderating.
