HOCKEY AT SUVA
UNIVERSITY PLAYERS FIRST TEST MATCH DRAWN (Received August 26, 8.25 p.m.) SUVA, Aug. 26 The New Zealand University hockey plavers drew with Suva to-day in the first test match, the score being two all. Suva scored in the first minute, Martin netting. Even play ensued in the remainder of the half. Early in the second half Ford flicked in to Struithers and the latter scored. Suva returned immediately after the bully and a hot shot from Boyer scored. Finally near the end, Walter sent out to Walton, who centred and Huston scored. The visitors outmanoeuvred Suva with their stick, work, but lacked combination. Suva hud the advantage of speed. Ford described £he ground as the fastest Jhe had ever played on-,
