OLD BOYS' REUNION
MOUNT ALBERT GRAMMAR SMOKE CONCERT AT SCHOOL The annual reunion of the Mount Albert Grammar School Old Boys' Association was continued during the week-end. Over 250 former pupils attended .a reunion smoke concert held in the school hall on Saturday night. Community singing was held and items were given by Messrs. Bert Skeels and Alan McElwain. Among the toasts honoured were: —"The Old School," proposed by Mr. V. C. Butler and responded to by the headmaster, Mr. F. W. Gamble; "Absent Friends," proposed by Mr. Max Tongue; and "Kindred Associations," proposed by Mr. D. Sumner and responded to by Messrs. A. Rainger (King's College Old Boys' Association), A. L. Grieg (Diiworth Old Boys' Association), D. G. Rennie (Sacred Heart College Old Boys' Association), A. Beechey (English Public Schoils' Association), and Kyle (New Plymouth High School Old Boys' Association''
Yesterday afternoon about 80 old boys visited the school and the adjoining school farm and were entertained to afternoon tea at the School House. The reunion celebrations will conclude with the annual ball to be held in the Peter Pan Cabaret to-night.
