DAVIS CUP COMPETITION MATCHES FOR TO-MORROW The Auckland Hockey Association's Davis Cup competition will be continued to-mor-row. The principal match at Remuera will be between St. Luke's and University on No. 1 ground at 3.5 p.m. The game is expected to produce an even struggle. Papatoetoo will play a curtain-raiser on No. 1 ground at 1.50 p.m., while Mount Eden and Somerviile will contest the points on No. 3 ground at 3.5 p.m. Lower grade competitions will be continued. TAURANGA COMPETITIONS [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] TAURANGA, Thursday In the hockey association's competitions True Blues beat Corinthians by 8 goals to 2. Scorers for True Blues were Olsen, Cambie (5) and Nono (2), and for Corinthians, Kennedy and Curtis. NORDON CUP MATCH HASTINGS BEATS FEILDING [HY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION'] HASTINGS. Thursday The Hastings hockey representatives were fully extended to withstand a challenge from Feilding for the Nordon Cup, tjio holders winning by 4 goals to 3. It wos the hardest game Hastings has had since it has been defending the cup, and the challengers might be regarded as unlucky to lose. Feilding showed better stickwork and combination. The scorers for Hastings were Stilt. McNabb (2) and Hayes, and for Feilding, B. Hockcn, A. Packer and Westfold.
