COMMITTEE TO MAKE REPORT BOROUGH COUNCIL DECISION [from our own correspondent] PUKEKOHE, Thursday The need for the installation of a sewerage scheme at Pukekohe was stressed at Inst evening's meeting of tho Pukekohe Borough Council. A scheme has been prepared, but on two previous occasions the ratepayers have rejected proposals to raise the money required. In mentioning tho matter last evening, the Mayor, Mr. C. K. Lawrie, said ho feared the health authorities would take action if the council did not.

Other members supported this view, and on tho motion of Mr. G. T. Parvin, seconded by Mr. Laurie, the matter was referred to tho Finance Committee for report.
