A farewell was tendered last night by the congregation of the Northcote Presbyterian Church to Mrs. E. Brunton and her daughter, Airs. J. Foley, who arc leaving the district after 23 years' residence. Presentations from the congregation were made by the Rev. S. L. Among the enjoyable items given were monologues by Mrs. H. Trcmain, and songs by Mr. R. McGhie. The accompanist was Miss M. E. Sliutes. Competitions were won by Mrs. S. L. Boot and Mrs. E. F. Smith.
