DANCE AT BAYSWATER

TAKAPUNA RUGBY CLUB The monthly dance of the newlyformed Takapuna Rugby Football Club was held in the Boating Clubhouse, Bayswater, on Saturday. Visitors from the representing various football clubs, were present. The guests were received by the president, Mr. F. E. Sutherland, and Mrs. Sutherland, the latter wearing a frock of black Chantilly lace. The ladies' committee comprised:—Mrs. A. Jenson, who wore a frock of hlack Chaiatilly lace; Mrs. G. Edmonds, scarlet chiffon velvet; Mrs. H. Fogarty, Burgundy crepe suede; Mis. C. Cherney, black floral chiffon.

Among those present were:—Mrs. D. Hallam, who wore black and petunia taffeta; Mrs. R. White, rose Chantilly lace; Mrs. E. B. Hay ward, apricot taffeta; Mrs. Evans, Royal blue satin beaute; Mrs. J. Brookes, floral organdie; Miss E. Henderson, black souple satin; Miss Ruth Wallace, Lido blue taffeta; Miss Joan Henderson, ivory satin beaute; Miss Irene Marechal, tango embossed velvet; Miss B. Collingvvood, blue floral taffeta; Miss Inez Larson, gold lame and brown velvet; Miss D. Smith, white crepe suede; Miss Jean Gray, aquamarine ring velvet; Miss M. McNeill, golden glow taffeta; Miss M. McLeod, Nile green velvet; Miss Betty Gardiner, white chiffon; Miss Ailsa Dick, electric bluo crepe; Miss Mary Wilkinson, floral voile; Miss Matty Wilkinson, pink floral voile; Miss P. Pratt, black taffeta and silver lame; Miss M. Young, peach faille; Miss D. McKee, black taffeta; Miss Primrose McKay, pink Tartan organdie; Miss Betty Cranston, black taffeta and net; Miss M. Brett, Marina blue georgette; Miss H. Highland, phloxpink moss crepe; Miss D. Wiseman, white crepe suede; Miss Ruth Taylor, cameo pink crinkled crepe; Miss It. Wilson, primrose floral taffeta; Miss L. Powell, briar rose Chantilly lace; Miss G. Sevi, white floral organdie; Miss M. Edgar, ciel blue taffeta.
