SOUTH AUCKLAND EVENT VICTORY FOR CAMBRIDGE FIFTEEN TEAMS PARTICIPATE [by telegraph—own correspondent] CAMBRIDGE, Sunday Fifteen South Auckland golf clubs took part in tho annual match for the Edwin Blydo Cup, played on tho Cambridge links yesterday. The match resulted in a win for Cambridge. The courso was in good order, the water soaking away rapidly. The order in which the clubs finished was as follows:—Cambridge, 655; Rotorua, 673; Matamata, 574; Paeroa, 575; Otorohanga, 579; Morrinaville, 682; Hamilton, 587; Te Kuiti, 587; Putaruru, 596; Waikare, 598; Ngaruawahia, 595; To Aroha, 601; Ngahinepouri, 618; Walton, 626. HASTINGS TOURNAMENT [BY TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] HASTINGS, Sunday The final of the Hastings Golf Club's annual championship tourney was played yesterday between Kapi Tareha (Waipuku : rau), who had defeated J. L. Black (Wellington) in the semi-final, and J. B. Wilson (Hastings), who had defeated W. A. Wilson (Hastings), Heavy rain was experienced during the first four holeß, but lator the weather cleared, and the play was followed by a large gallery. Tareha holed a six-foot putt to win by 5 and 4. Scores in the match wore:—Out: Tareha, 5, 6, 5, 3, 4, 5, 4, 4, 4 —40; Wilson, 5, 5, 4, 4, 5, 4, 6, 5, 5—43. In: Tareha, 4, 4, 4, 4, 4, 5, 3. 4, 5—37; Wilson, 4, 5, 5, 4, 5, 4, 3, 5' 5—40.
