FLIGHT ' IN PROGRESS CLIPPER AT HONOLULU (Eeceived August 11, 5.5 p.m.) HONOLULU, Au*. 10 The I'an-American Clipper aeroplane, flew to Honolulu and on to Midway Island and returned in June, agjiin hopped off from Alameda, California, for Honolulu yesterday. The machine is to fly to Wake.-Island as a further preliminary in connection with the pti'o- '■ posed air rrail and passenger route from California to China. The Clipper Janded at Honolulu today after a record flight from Alameda of 17 hours minutes, even though it deviated frori the charted course several times tc make special surveys of air conditions.. It will leave for Midway 'lsland probably on Tuesday and fly th ence to Wake Island. It will not proceed to Guam.
