Aug. 11 The New Zealand women'u hockey team played its final match in Australia yesterday when it brilliantly defeated a Metropolitan team by 4 goals; to 1 after the score lad been 1-all at half time. ' The Nesv 2lealand team comprised : Mesdames Eeid and O'Connor, Missus Woolley, McDonald. Mackie, Sanson, Hansen, Savile, McKenzie, Dahlbeig and Cotter. With pretty shor; pasfrirg movements the New Zealanders kept the city team on the defensive almost throughout the, second half. Mrs. Reed scored one goal and Miss Cotter three. / The New Zealand women'is hockoy team has a fine record for thi! tour. It played eleven matches in Australia and won all but cne.
